About Greater Manchester Deaf Community
The purpose of the site is to:
- Provide a single point of access to community information in a variety of formats for the deaf community in Greater Manchester
- Support voluntary and community groups, resident associations and small business with the development of their information and services for the web by providing advice, training, technical support and web site creation
- Offer the deaf community a way to get involved in activities and issues in their community by using the forums, bulletin boards and by highlighting local events, training courses and conferences
- Showcase the work of the Web Connect community reporters
