Horizons is a supported volunteering service for Refugees and Asylum Seekers placing volunteers into a wide variety of placements. Your role will be to set up and develop volunteer opportunities by working with organisations, to link with mainstream volunteer bureaux and to support volunteers.
You will have an insight into the needs, hopes and fears of refugees and asylum seekers and experience of assessing hard to reach clients needs and supporting them to access services. You have supervised volunteers and can manage the day to day running of a busy project.
