Community Reporters

Everyone has something to say - about where they live, what they're experiencing, and what they want to see happen. Our Community Reporters’ programme gives people a platform to tell these stories online.

We work with individuals from all kinds of communities to give them a voice and build their confidence in the use of social media tools.

Reporters learn how to produce content with new social media such as blogs, podcasts, films and wikis, and use everything from mobile phones to video cameras and webcams. Stories are distributed through our online networks, meaning that those voices can be heard by anyone online.

Community reporters can be local active individuals or participants in our training programmes.

The Canadian singer-songwriter obviously enjoyed his visit to Manchester last July and has now signed up for four nights on 17-20 June.

The Guardian Exchange tunnels continue to generate interest and speculative comments galore
Urbis now runs a ‘60s Magical Music Tour‘...

Come and help us set the mis-en-scene for a FREE explosion of films, music, bands and DJ’s. Lets Go Expo 08 is an...
1068.Northernights: a guide to Manchester’s clubland(Friday 25th of January 2008 12:15:08 AM 2 years, 7 months ago ) I’m not a big clubgoer myself - I’d rather see music played in the flesh - but I’m well aware of Manchester’s big clubbing tradition, which I guess dates back to 1963 when the Twisted Wheel opened. And we don’t even need to mention the H word, do we?
But...
1069.Manchester miscellany - late January(Wednesday 23rd of January 2008 12:07:52 AM 2 years, 7 months ago )
A few interesting things are building up again so here’s a quick link dump…
