Debuting at Manchester Central Library this

June
and July is a one-of-a kind exhibit:

“And then he kissed her…100
years of Mills & Boon”

bringing together for the first time original
editions,

book covers, cartoons and memorabilia from

the Mills & Boon
archives
documenting how women

transformed the society and sexuality of
20th century Britain.

This accessible and interactive exhibit
offers a tantalizing slice

of popular history. There’s even writing
workshops
for

those who think they’ve got what it takes to write
romantic fiction.

As part of the celebration, we’re also
asking the public to

contribute their real life
romance stories
, let’s see if

we
all can give Mills & Boon some steep competition
when it comes to passion!

From 6th June to 31st July 2008
