The Working Carers' Network is a new venture set up by Manchester City Council to allow carers who juggle work and care to get the information and support they need. They provide information about issues affecting working carers and support that is available to help them to continue to work and care. It also provides an opportunity to talk to other carers and express views on support that is offered in the work place. In 2008, the Working Carers' Network will host a series of events, to find out more about the network contact the Carers' Strategy Team on 0161 234 4254 or email glenn.street@manchester.gov.uk
