Imperial War Museum North want to encourage groups of people who don't normally come to museums and galleries to visit.

They are offering a free flexible pilot course for Group leaders, training co-ordinators, volunteers and mentors, aiming to inform the participants how to bring a group on a self-led visit to the museum.

During the course everyone will receive a free USB memory stick packed with resources to use with your group

So if you know a residents groups, with someone that could spend ever 2 half days or all a full day to expand their knowledge of not only on the contents of the Museum but on how to lead a group of people.

For further information please contact Lisa Gillen, Live & Learn Project Administrator, Imperial War Museum North on 0161 836 4000
