Posted : (Tuesday 18th December 2007 ) By - chris (Registered User)

Manchester Rape Crisis is a voluntary organisation run by women for women. They offer a confidential support service which includes face to face counselling and a help-line for support, advice and information. The team has recently been joined by a Black/Asian women’s worker who will be offering counselling to Black and ethnic minority women survivors of rape and sexual abuse.

If you need to make a referral to the counselling service or would like any further advice or information then please do not hesitate to contact the team.

Our helpline also has a 24-hour answering service. Women of differing ages, races, backgrounds and sexual orientation staff our help lines. If you would prefer to speak to someone who you feel may have greater knowledge or experience of issues which you may want to talk about, please do tell us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
